Terms used
By “data subject” we mean the person whose personal data the Controller processes in its personal registers.
By “personal data” we mean all information related to an identified or identifiable natural person, i.e. the data subject, such as name, email, telephone number and job title.
By “partners” we mean companies or organizations with whom we have long-term cooperation. These include, for example, design firms, real estate financiers, operators, accounting firms and software development partners.
By “suppliers” we mean companies or organizations that deliver products or services to our company. These include, for example, IT system suppliers.
By “stakeholders” we mean individuals or parties that have an interest in or influence over the company’s operations. These include, for example, owners and authorities.
Purpose of use of personal data
The personal data is used for the following purposes:
– Managing cooperation relationships and communication
– Managing and implementing contracts
– Invoicing and other business-related administration
– Organizing events and functions
The processing of personal data is based on the implementation of the contract, the legitimate interest of the controller (e.g. conducting business and maintaining stakeholder relations) or fulfilling legal obligations.
Data retention period
Personal data is stored for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing or for the period required by law.
Disclosure and transfer of information
The data will not be disclosed to third parties without a valid reason. The data may be transferred to service providers who process the data on behalf of the company (e.g. IT services, billing systems). The data will not be transferred outside the EU/EEA without appropriate safeguards.
Data subject rights
The data subject has the right to:
– Access their own data
– Request rectification or erasure
– Object to or restrict processing
– File a complaint with a data protection authority
Information security
Appropriate technical and organizational measures are used to protect personal data, such as access control, encrypted data transmission, and information system security.
Legislation applicable to data processing
Finnish legislation and EU legislation directly applicable in Finland, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation, apply to the controller’s personal registers and the processing of personal data contained therein.
